There has been alot of hype regarding the 2009 vintage in France, especially now with the Bordeaux futures campaign underway.  So here are some of the first thoughts on the vintage as I interview Francois on the second day of harvest in September.  He explains the growing season in Burgundy and why in particular in '09 it had lead up to a very promising vendage/harvest in Meursault.
